Australia Day – Geraldton

A classic hot Australia Day in Geraldton? Sounds like the perfect getaway!

Off on another Switch plane trip, we touched down in Geraldton early Saturday morning for what would be amazing Australia Day weekend. SPF100 sunscreen was a must because it was blistering hot, but when is a classic Australia Day not? Our green room was amazing, our hotel stay at the Ocean Centre Hotel was absolutely top-notch, and the stage was huge! The people of Geraldton know how to put on a great event. Food stalls lined the foreshore, music was happening all day, and there were even carnival rides. We capped off the night with a classic Switch show that even had actual fireworks! All in all, we had an absolute blast and look forward to doing more shows up in Geraldton soon.
